Company Policy

It is the policy of Probuild General Contracting (PBC) to ensure and adhere to the strict operational procedures are identified to avoid risk to its employees and others who may be affected and proper regard to the conservation of the environment. The company will continually endeavor to provide safe places of work, a safe system of working, and thorough orderly good maintenance, care and attention to all processes, plants and equipment, avoid personal injuries or risks to the health of its employees. In implementing this policy, PBC fully recognizes the importance of not only to comply with relevant local legislation but also to promote appropriate measures to safeguard the environment for all who may be affected directly or indirectly by the company’s operational activities

Management and Supervisory Staff have the responsibility for implementing this policy throughout the company and must ensure that the Health, Environment and Safety considerations are always given priority in planning and day to day supervision work. The appropriate measures relate to the safety of our operations undertaken by the company employees, prevention of air, water and soil pollution and precautions to minimize damage from such accidents as may in the circumstances occur.

The company undertakes to continually review and seek to improve its operating procedures, equipment and other resources to comply with the following:

  • All employees in the company will observe applicable environmental, health, hazardous, material transportation, safety and product safety laws and regulation.
  •  Priority to protection of employees, the public, clients, and the environment.
  • Prior to any new changes to existing operations, the company line management will address any possible adverse environmental impact before implementation.
  • Strict control by the line management responsible for operations shall be exercised on waste generation and on- site disposal together with toxic and critical pollutant emissions.
  • Materials which are considered of hazardous nature to the employee, public or the environment shall be avoided but where their use is deemed necessary shall be minimized with appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Wherever such materials shall be replaced alternative materials of an environmentally friendly nature. Careful planning of work activities to ensure spills and unintended releases to the environment are avoided.

  • The company through its line management will promote environmental concern among all employees and seek to generate an overall awareness of the impact of their operational activities on the environment.
  • All the employees will be further encouraged to identify and promptly report of potential environmental matters of concern to their senior management and or the health, safety and environmental section.
  • The company, having acknowledged the importance of protecting the environment, will at all practicable time seek to promote the efficient use of energy sources and maximize conservative aspects.
  • All employees are expected to cooperate with the Company in carrying out this policy and must ensure that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves or others.
  • The General Manager has the responsibility for Health, environment, Safety and Welfare and to whom reference should be made in the event of any difficulty arising in implementation of this policy.
  • The operation of this policy will be monitored by the management and Staff of the company.
  • This statement of Company Safety Policy will be displaced prominently at all sites and workplaces.
